The Human Resources Manager will lead the Human Resources function within the plant to include recruiting, onboarding, compensation, benefits, leave, performance management, and employee relations to ensure that the plant maintains a positive and safe work environment. Partners with the Plant Manager and leadership team to develop and implement programs, processes, or actions to drive employee engagement and retention.
The HR Manager develops partnerships across the human resource department to facilitate value-added services to leadership and employees that reflect the business values and objectives. The HR Manager provides project support and oversight for human resource initiatives. Responsibilities also include assisting in the development of company staff by providing support to enhance employee performance in the workplace, including the management of the employee relations function.

Recruitment, onboarding, rollout of training, safety/accident prevention, employee relations, affirmative
action, compensation, and employee benefit programs.
Partner with operational leadership on the development of project implementations, planning/scheduling,
resource requirements, and deployment/allocation of resources
Ability to establish rapport and credibility with employees and leadership
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Be a champion of IDEAL, our diversity, inclusion, and equity initiative
Ownership of performance management and employee leave programs
Guide managers to resolve issues as well as advise on disciplinary actions
Conducts timely and appropriate investigations when workplace issues arise
Participate in accident and incident investigations and assist with the modification and new
development of safety policies and procedures
In collaboration with corporate and other human resources unit leaders across the Company, be
accountable for deploying company policies, initiatives, performance management, benefits, wellness,
and employee development
Desired Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required
7 years of human resource experience with progressive growth (recruitment, training/development,
performance management, employee relations, payroll, and benefits) 3 years in a senior-level HR role.
Experience within Manufacturing is required
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and familiarity with HRIS systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, conflict resolution, and employee counseling
Knowledge of federal and state labor employment laws and regulatory compliance
Ability to use good judgment to escalate HR concerns to management as appropriate
Maintains confidentiality and exercises good judgment with sensitive information
Ability to speak to groups and give presentations to all levels of the Company
Familiar with Industrial safety and Workers’ compensation
